CA Clutch Pedal Dead till Midpoint

Anyone know why my clutch pedal is sticking? My factory one cracked and I replaced it with the BHR one and now it’s feels like there’s no resistance till half way depressing the clutch. It was like this when the clutch pedal cracked also.

Before the clutch pedal assembly weld failed it felt normal.

Did you adjust the engagement of the new pedal?

I did not. I just compared where the plunger was to my stock pedal and they looked the same so I just installed it.

Would it make a big difference?

You don't have a speedbleeder in your clutch slave cylinder do you? I did when I did my brake fluid bleeding. Then after, I pressed the clutch down and the pedal went straight to the floor. I put the original bleeder screw into the slave cylinder and pressed on the clutch, worked fine.

Not that I know of. I havent done any bleed to the clutch/brake fluid. I only put on the Clutch Pedal Assembly. I ordered a Master Clutch Cylinder. Im thinking its that or maybe I need to bleed the fluid of air.

I found that I had the clutch in the wrong position and I need to adjust the pedal for the dead space. There is still dead space but its less.

My new issue is that the Clutch Position Sensor(im guessing what this is called) needs to be reset. Its the plunger that goes down when the clutch is depressed. I have pulled it all the way out and I tried pushing my clutch all the way in and it wont start the car. The only way I can start the car now is when I manually press in the sensor with my hand. Any suggestions?

You can reset the switch. All you have to do it take the switch off and pull on the plunger REALLY hard(you'll think it's going to break but it won't) and then it will pop out to the fully extended position and then you can reinstall and everything should work fine.
