Can I move the car with no midpipe or cat?

My boyfriend took the cat off of our car an it currently has NO midpipe, we need to move the car to winter storage an need to drive her there, my question is will it do damage to drive it 20 minutes with no mid pipe or cat??

psa we're waiting on a new midpipe but it hasn't came in an the car needs moved asap as we're moving!

If the fumes and noise are OK it won't hurt the car 😃

just take it easy and pray the sound police are too busy arresting somebody’s grandma for feeding homeless people.

because the exhaust that will be coming out is pretty hot. So it’s best not to be revving it up and kicking out a lot of heat under the car in addition to the added noise factor.

I second the go easy recommendation. I had an exhaust leak at the manifold/mid pipe joint. The gases were hot enough to scorch the heat shield material and blacken it.

It’s going to be obnoxiously loud, so be prepared, ear protection recommended.
go easy, our car likes to back fire, you don’t want the flame damage anything.
