GReddy E-Manage Help-Base Maps Needed

Like the title says, need a base map or preferably some tunes we can go off of if possible for the GReddy E-Manage Ultimate Turbo Upgrade. I have a E-Manage Ultimate ECU that needs a base map to start with. Please, I know E-Manage is junk and I know get a Adaptronics ECU but their not available at the moment nor for many months Adaptronics in AU is saying. I find this out after My son conjured me into putting a used 60-1 Garrett upgraded turbo kit in his 05 stick 8 and after 2 weeks of building the ship in a bottle the turbo works GREAT but the piggy back ECU makes a unhappy AFR after 5 psi of boost. I want to get the car running for him if possible while waiting on a new ECU, can any body out their help us? THANKS in advance

Read up about and get/use MazdaEdit instead of the E-Manage. The E-Manage and factory computer are going to be chasing each other back and fourth to make corrections and be neither consistent or reliable.

Lancr, congrats on the turbo install but as you already mentioned the E-manage is indeed junk. We haven't seen people (successfully) using it in well over 10 years.
There is no need for a 'piggyback' as most tuners have moved to a flash tuning system where you can basically reprogram the factory PCM with the tuning parameters you want. It's easier than getting an aftermarket ecu.

look at MazdaEdit or VersaTuner

What part of Australia are you in? I have a friend who might be able to point you in the direction of a tuner if you need one

based on my experience with the older Adaptronic Select ecu on an REW conversion, I don’t have any hesitation recommending it as a piggyback option. Because I honestly believe that ultimately a MAP based setup is the way to go with FI. At least you can do boost by gear and have other turbo oriented controls in place that a flashed system can’t provide. Of course the Adaptronic modular PnP ecu is a bigger and better step above the Select, but it means never passing an OBD2 test. So there are limitations depending on where you may live and the legality of the changes.

Thanks guys

Thanks for the reply guys. I’m actually in the USA, bern in touch with a few tuners here and @Brettus f try on the forum here. I’ll be working with him to get this thing tuned for my boy using Mazdaedit or through the Cobb Access port we already have. Wish us luck!! 🤞🤞🙏
