Step one purchase a set of Dynamic LED Side Marker Indicator Light Fit Mazda MX-5 for as cheap as $10 posted.
Sept two remove inner gut.






Now remove your side repeater and bend the metal reflector with a pick and whatever is most convinces for you.

Now isolate back of pcd board. I use a lighter to melt hot glue as it is easier and faster to do.




Slide the board through, note the direction of the led which is indicated by an arrow.






It the time to mate the wiring to OEM socket, the mx5 socket is very similar :




I chose to do an easier job with a ghetto lamp plug job, the glass of w5w has some notches on both sides and a very tight fit.


Bend wires under the lamp butt.



Few twists of wires will tension back the led board or use your own method.

If the LED board is not lined, you need to make adjust by reducing tension on the twisted wires.

Done.

 

Would choose a longer LED if I want to do it again and might more soldered wires.
Add a couple of 2mm holes in bottoms as I notice some condensation in them too.
