Is Team really banned permanently from the forum? Can anyone confirm?

 

My bet is no. He probably said the wrong thing to a newbie again and got a month vaca. A mod can confirm tho

 

pretty sure its a month but censorship isnt limited to google, facespace, *******, instathot etc so it wouldnt shock me

 

The last thing he posted was something complaining about Indigenous Peoples' Day and in typical Team fashion, it was a really bad and unfunny attempt at making a joke.

I found it hilarious yesterday when someone asked about E85 and they got a straightforward and helpful answer. Somehow no one jumped down their throat, called them stupid, accused them of not searching, then got all high and mighty without actually being helpful. Weird how that works.

 

We typically do not discuss member infractions publicly but I will give some insight here since Team has been a long time contributing member of this community.
TeamRX8 has received a 30 day ban, he is not permanently banned.

My hope is that the time away will be good for everyone as sometimes we just need to take a break from the forum.
That said, our priority is and always will be the community as a whole and no one member will ever be above that. We hope that members continue to enjoy our little corner of the internet and that you guys stop trying to REW swap your RX-8's. (I kid)

Does that fact that he helps a lot of people outweigh the toxic environment he creates that scares a lot of newbies away ?

 

Did that stop us from Perma banning MazdaManiac?
The answer is no.

As I said before, no one member is greater than the community as a whole so if a member becomes so toxic as to outweigh their contributions we will not hesitate to remove that person.
