LHD Mazda RX-8 Oil Metering Pump (Sohn) Adapter

Just wondering what your guys's opinions are about the Sohn adapter is this good if you're going to drift your RX8

A lot of members here run it with no ill effect. I also run it and modified OMP table, consumes 1.2 quart in 450-500mile.
it provides clean burning oil, the ability to use whatever oil you want, easiness to clean the OMP injector( by running Seafoam in the tank). You can also use synthetic in the crankcase with no “mental pressure” I use Shell Rotella T6, diesel oil.

IIRC TeamRX8 does not run it, if he can chime in and share his opinion that would be awesome.

He's mentioned before that there is no evidence that it makes much difference. I've never run one but also feel I really don't need to. It's probably better to run clean oil into the combustion chamber and yes, you can use full synthetic for your oil which allows for longer time between oil changes. I'm on the fence about it personally. I just feel it's a marginal improvement over just premixing and may or may not improve the lifespan of the engine.
