Thank you. I owned the 10th AE 1988 RX-7 some twenty years ago, but had to sell it cause of kids. I can afford a fun car again, figured kids could fit in the back, so I've been looking for the right 8 for a while. Finally found it, the compression numbers were great, its got low miles and ironically, is another AE.

You scored a nice one there. It's so nice to see folks picking up clean examples (as I know they do exist) instead of the el cheapo tired abused ones. Sold some BMW parts yesterday and the seller saw my RX8 in the garage. When I told him I am the original owner and history of the car, he texted me later offering me $10k for it. I politely declined. Sure I can grab it and find something else. But you and I know we will want to return to the rotary.
