A little bit of a back story: I'd drive by this house and always look at the RX-8, and after a few months of the car never moving an inch I decided to go up to the house and ask whats going on with the car. He said the car has been sitting for a few years as he just didn't have the time or anything to fully fix it and he was just gonna send it to the junk yard. So long story short I bought the car for $300. He said he replaced the gaskets and seals but the car still had cooling issues. I've had two FC RX-7's and this is my first RX-8. I'm excited but I have a loottt of work ahead to get her running and looking good.

 

Wohooo!! I basically picked mine up recently for next to nothing also!!!! Got super lucky with a spare motor off an auto, all I needed was a clutch and flywheel!

 

Oooh nice! That is lucky, also congratulations on yours too! I'm ready to get her up and running, I dont ever see any RX-8s where I live :/
