Today my car got its first bath from me.

I bought the mr. clean gizmo, mothers clay bar, micro towel, terry towels, some wipes for the inside, and some zymol cleaning wax, oh and a jvc sirius radio that I really liked because it is black and crome with a red display so it looks like it is part of the car (I had XM before but I gave it to my brother beacuse the unit was an old sony model and I didnt want to mount it on the dash with the adhesive. Wrong thread to talk about that anyway)

The Mr Clean thing - I used a bucket and dawn to strip the dealer wax. I just used the mr clean thing to filter the water. I might try the soap later.

Mothers Clay Bar - HOLY FREAKIN HELL. I am a clay bar believer. I was so nervous I was trembling a little rubbing that thing across my paint. Man it worked great. I used the entire bottle of the spray because I wanted to make sure it was wet the whole time and that spray streaks bad but I hosed it again when I was finished anyway.

Zymol - I was a meguiars guy with the miata and stang. I used the gold on the stang and the three stage on the miata. This was my first zymol experience and I must say I am impressed. The big test will be how long and well it protects. Ill post pictures tomorrow. It was getting dark when I finished.

Total time 8 hours.. worth it though.

There are two streaks on the bumper that formed when I hosed off the pollen after driving it for a day
