Customer service is basically nonexistent. I was discussing over email with them the fuel cell they offer and they slow rolled me for about a week before going totally radio silent. I wouldn't have any confidence they'd actually fulfill an order.

Agreed. I wrote back to them a month later letting them know I was still interested, no response. Wrote back a month after that with the same inquiry, no response.

They make great stuff... but are in overwhelm mode most of the time with the orders. Pretty much a one man show.....

They always ship orders.... but often it takes a while..

I wouldn't be worried about them providing the stuff.... just realize that timelines will not be order today and ship tomorrow.

Ordered some stuff thru them when they first started up. quick shipping. Since they have gained popularity I have heard many stories about delayed delivery times but overall they get you what you need it just might take a while

yeah, there’s a thread over on RX7Club, they bit off more than they could deliver on, people got upset with excuses and delays for many months and so on. Supposedly they were getting it straightened out, but maybe wishful thinking. Probably his biggest issue is being in Kalifornistan ...

I looked at some stuff and talked to the guy about a year ago, the stuff is way overbuilt and I just didn’t get a good feeling.

it was more like order today, maybe ships in 6 - 9 months, lol.

Lots of performance companies are in California and don't have any issues responding to customers or filling orders.

Maybe I'll try reaching out to them again. Though at this point I think I'd rather just build what I need for myself.

let’s not deny that the excessive regulations, costs, and other stuff we don’t need to go into are always working against them, which is why many companies and residents are fleeing, but sure, there are other issues too

Actually I don’t where you were born, just that you’ve lived in Maryland for quite some time.

I don't hate it, but it wouldn't be my choice if I didn't have a good job here

I posted again on their FB page asking about their fuel cell. The guy responded right away, and said it's available and he'll post pictures on the web site that night. That was two months ago, I've written him a couple e-mails and posted since then, can't even get a response at this point. I get the impression the guy makes some high quality stuff but cannot run a business to save his life. I wouldn't send them any money.

Maybe, or maybe he is just overwhelmed. But it's frustrating because some of his stuff is intriguing to me, but not worth the risk of sending a lot of money.

pretty much seems to be SOP for them, as per the thread on RX7Club

seems to eventually deliver after 6-12 months of promises, promises ...

They show beautiful designed and CNC machined parts, but ...

Which reminds me, I need to check in with Scott at RX8Performance about the parts I paid for over a month ago. "Something's up with his machinist"

A lot of businesses are closed with Covid restrictions. I'm.sure if you talk with him he will let you know what an expected ETA is. I've been waiting for a month for my housings to be ported... machine shop is backed up because they have had some out sick ( a different machine shop BTW)
