I'm new to the RX world and Mazda's having spent my track life with BMWs, Nissans and a Lotus. Other than bushings and coilovers what other components would you replace? Do people run stock bars in the rear or must i order all new components from an aftermarket vendor? If so which vendor, being new i don't know what's good vs. junk.
The car is being built into a cheap NASA TT3 car and for DEs. I have some Penske coilovers incoming and have done bushings on the control arms and installed new brakes. What else would you address?

Some people downgrade to a Miata bar in the rear, or no bar at all, and mildly upgrade the front. I personally have run stock and not felt the need for more bar or altered balance after coilovers. But, I don't AutoX, only road course. If I had to upgrade, Progress Tech seems well reviewed and specced by people who use them. Most of the same brands you know from other cars probably apply.

​​​​​I would definitely upgrade the motor mounts. The stock ones allow the shifter to walk around under cornering. Mine are BHR with the softest inserts, plenty stiff.

With a good alignment you should be set. The more camber you can get in the front, the better it will be, so you may want to consider aftermarket offset LCA bushings
