Anyone knows what's the total weight reduction of removing airbags (wheel + passenger side) ? I am talking all related hardware/wires etc.

(By replacing steering wheel with aftermarket and just removing passenger side)

 

steering wheel about 6 lbs, side curtains about 4 lbs each, passenger dash 8-10 lbs maybe, seats about 1.5 lbs each

 

I have cloth seats so I'm guessing no airbags on seats already...Side curtains? I didn't notice we had any ! Thanks tho ! :D

 

You do have seat and side curtain bags.

Team knows that of which he speaks - don't guess.

 

on the outside corner of both front seats

side curtains are inside the roof-pillar trim on both sides as well

the chassis is very well built and has good safety features
