Weather was going to be nice, traffic was going to be light, and "Rex" was ready to roll Took a quick trip to East Tennessee through McMinnville to Athens, TN down scenic & swervy Hwy 30. Stayed overnight at the Comfort Inn in Athens, then got up early to hit the Cherohala Skyway before the sun came all the way up. Fun & fast...nice swoopy curves with some tight turns and switchbacks, but mostly open fast road almost completely empty! Turn left at Hwy 129 and head up to Deal's Gap...318 curves in 11 miles A nice getaway for a single day...win!
