Hi,

I am currently returning my RX8 to its former glory. I have a few after-market parts on the car and, as i would like it to look more stock i am looking to take this off.
The system i have is this one https://www.borla.com/products/rx8_c...t__140078.html. It looks to be in good condition and i would say under a year old as that the info from the former owner.​​​​​​
Now this thing is a bit too loud for me so i am thinking to pull this off.
Im up for swapping this for your old (good condition full decat) and a few $$. Whats the feelings on this? I live in Richmond Hill ON

The catback makes minor difference in sound volume. Obviously some are louder, but Borla is one of the better behaved ones. By contrast not having a cat or resonator on the midpipe can make things real loud. What midpipe is on there?

 

If this is a FS or FT post it should be within your regional classified section or the site classified listings.

So some clarity is needed. Are you looking for advice on whether to swap it or for someone to trade or purchase this?

Sorry, it was vague. I was looking for advice to quieten it down but, after some thought i think i would like to return this car to stock. Its a little too loud after a drive today and just not my taste.

So with the back bumper removed (removing rust from the rear wheel arch) i saw that the exhaust is Invidia and, with some research looks like a Q200 Cat back.

I will post this in for sale if that ok?
