Adaptronic alternator signal

I've been spending the better part of a year trying to get the Adaptronic ECU working in my car. All the firmware issues (no ABS in DSC cars) appear to have been resolved with their last update but I found a new problem that I wanted to post here in case anyone else needs the info.

I discovered that the alternator was not working when I was running the Adaptronic ECU. With some help from Elliot at TurboSource we discovered the problem.

For whatever reason, Adaptronic runs the "Alternator Reg Sense" signal through pin 5J in the ECU/harness (Blue/Red wire). This needs to be constant 12v supply for the alternator to run. In the stock ECU this is a 15A room light, fuse is by the driver's foot. So, If you remove the interior harness like everyone does in a race car, that wire will not have any power on it, your alternator will not charge, and the car will not make any power trying to run on battery alone.

Splice in a 12V switched power source to the blue/red wire at 5J and the problem is resolved.

This is actually written in the wiring diagram for the Adaptronic EMOD13, see pin 5J - Alternator Reg sense below:

Adax, out of curiosity, from where did you took the 12V supply to splice into 5J? Just that I don't mess up something in the wiring
