Wiring charging system
Hello group,
I am putting a Renesis engine into my lotus super 7 clone, and will not be using the ECU. Since I will not be using the ECU, which controls the charging, I need to wire in a voltage regulator. The Rx8 has a two wire plug in the generator.
Can you make a suggestion for me to wire in an external voltage regulator?

Use the 13B-REW alternator and voltage controller setup instead (1993+ RX7TT) since the RX8 alternator only functions correctly with direct PCM control ...
There may be other options I'm not aware of like racing 1-wire alternators setups etc.
