I bought a rebuilt engine off the shelf with no core trade-in, so I have a 2005 engine core taking up space and I have no use for it. Bare, since everything that didn't come with the new engine is still on the car.

Is it of use to anybody? If so, it is free if you can pick it up. If not, then I need suggestions on what to do with it. FYI, no, I don't have a boat.

 

I just disassembled my motor and it doesn't look good, I definitely could use some spare parts. Whats wrong with this one you are offering?

It has 105K. It was running poorly and then wouldn't start at the end. I forget the compression numbers (it's been a couple of years now). My recollection is that they didn't indicate a completely blown seal, but were weak enough that I went ahead and replaced the engine.

If you really have interest, send me a PM and arrange to pick it up. I'm not far from the I5/I805 merge.

 

If in the next few weeks Jedi has not picked it up, ill take it. I have pre-planned commitments for the next few weekends including family quality time with wife and kids, and my wifes birthday on 4th of July. My earliest availability would probably be like mid-July at best.
