I busted the rod clip for the door latch mechanism to the outer key cylinder on my drivers side door. The manual states that to remove the cylinder I must first pull the handle open and the cylinder cover lifts off. BUT it doesn't. I have tried to pry it off but only succeeded in chipping the pain around it.
Anyone know what am I missing here?

 

Well If anyone does have that misfortune the part number for the clip is SO84-72-315. It's about $3.00
