Well after a heck of a time with the dealer (my ordeal), I'm feeling like I'm settled with my new car.

This weekend it got a clear bra & a Zainoing...



...and is proudly sporting the club decal...

hey hows that clear bra working for you is it worth the money or is it better to get the original black bra....and is the clear bra removable?

 

The clear bra is great! I got it online from caraxent.com. I also got the protection for the headlights and the fog lights. Did all the installations myself in about two hours. Installation instructions on the site are great and, because the 8’s hood has no contours in the bra area, it was a snap. The kit also included mirrors and fenders. I did the fenders but skipped the mirrors. I didn’t bother with the bumper mask because the bumper is pretty resilient (plastic) and I learned on my last car that the worst dings come from rocks skipping off the front of the hood. Beside, doing the front is definitely professional installation territory.

I really hate black bras (on cars anyway). I don’t like the way they look and I hear they can damage the paint. This clear one can come off, but you won’t put it back again. You basically forget that it’s there and you can’t really see it without knowing it’s there. Treat it like paint while washing, clay bar, wax, etc. My big tip is don’t rub across the edge while claying. It takes forever to get the clay out of the crevice and the yellow line looked hideous on my titanium car.

I’m glad I did it.
