Clear Plastic Applied OEM
Dear Experts,
I was detailing my RX 8 today. I have only had 2 weeks and noticed clear plastic applied in front of rear wheel wells. Is this meant to remain? It seems to stuck down well. I don't want to damage paint trying to remove something that is meant to stay.

Wow, I guess I'm just picky but I noticed that plastic right away and almost didn't buy the car because I thought it was so visable/ugly!!! After getting an explanation of how it's some fancy new protection and seeing other cars with it all over them (mostly front) I was just glad the only seam on my car would be the one that it came with. :D Who knows, I might even grow to like it... same thing with the spare tire...
