Been going to LimeRock for a long time, but this was my first track event with my RX8. Car had been sitting outside for ~3 yrs so lot needed to be done to get it track worthy. Great news the former owner was there so showed me how to drive it. I am very please and no major issues. The power steering failed on the 1st run, so my arms got a work out. Need to figure out why that happened. Hmmm. An ideas ? Fuses looked good. Need to do some research. Rain on the last day, but got some good dry seat time before that.

Replaced the wire harness and found 2 crimped wires, so PS is BACK. YES>

Off to Watkins Glen next week so looking forward to being able to TURN !

 

Glad it worked out ok, you never know for sure ....

 

Starting to get used to the car. Like it. Ran flawlessly at the Glen.
