Where's the coolant sensor connector male end?

The previous owner disconnected the coolant reservoir sensor connector. The old reservoir also had a leak, so I'm replacing it. But the male end of the sensor connector is nowhere to be found. Does anyone know where I should be looking for it?

They tend to fall down by the ecu cover. Find the wiring harness in front of the bottle and follow the single wire to the plug

Thanks! I think I found it. Unfortunately it's been snipped, so I'll be going to the auto parts store to see if they have a connector. I haven't wired one of those types of connectors before. Do I need to worry about polarity?

I don't believe so...issue will be finding a connector. It won't be something you can find at the auto parts store.

Thanks again! Until I can find a proper connector, I've just shoved the wires into the female end. No coolant light on the dash, so either I've connected the sensor to the right pair of wires, or I completely picked the wrong pair
