Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know Im a proud new RX8 owner. It has been many years since i had a rotary (87 RX7) and missed the high smooth revs.

Let me know what you guys think of it. I think its in great shape

Welcome, Looks great. read this thoroughly if you haven't already. Did you get a rotary specific compression test on your motor? How much did you pay for the car ?

Good on ya and welcome aboard! Do you know if that 24k miles is on the original engine or has it had a rebuild?

Hey Gravey I bought it from a co worker who is the original owner and its the original engine with only 24k miles. Not rebuilt

The car is completely stock

It surely is!! I felt like I had to buy it once I found out. I just did the regular maintenance. Tires, brake pads, brake rotors, spark plugs, wires, and coil. Also change the motor oil. Car runs great.

I might be keeping it for awhile. I normally change cars every year but this car is different which I like

Welp looks like you caught a unicorn! I would still get a compression test done on it, although I would be surprised if it was low. Enjoy it! such a beautiful car!

 

I'm always a little wary of low mileage rotaries. But this one looks good.
