POWER LOSS on a track day... A nightmare! Please your help

hi friends, i'm new into this group, I'm from Chile. In Chile we've a rx8club page but i need other comments or opinions about my problem.

Last day i went to my second track day with my new Mazda RX8 2010, (77k). I've some upgrades into the car. (In the first track day the car has not upgrades and no problem)

- HKS Coilovers
- Racing Beat Intake
- Mainfold Jasma
- HKS exhaust system 3`
- DBA 5000 disks
- HP Plus brake pads

As i comment, last day i went to a new track day, so anxious for probe my "new racing car". Into the first 50km (around 30 miles) separated by 6 rounds all right and perfect. 1st gear, 2d gear, 3rd gear to 4d gear I used and all right.
But after that, on the 7 and 8 round started my problem ....

On the straight line at 3rd gear the power loss begin .... at 3rd gear up to 8500 rpm and then down to 6k aorund, and i cant to accelerate more than else.
Then in 4th gear occurs the same but just up to 6500 rpm and then down to 4.5 or 5 rpm ... very extrange,.

Someone has an idea? I need your help ... i appreciate that a lot.

Car Info:
- MAZDA RX8 2010
- 77000 km (48 miles)
- Recently mainteance:
Change Engine Oil: Royal Purple 10w40 XPR / DIY fluids / Gearbox Fluids / Brake Fluid.

No other maintance.

Does the check engine light come on when this happens? Is 1st and 2nd gear fine in the same rpm range?

It's just refusing to rev? Does this only happen after you've revved it a couple of times? Can you start it up in the morning and rev it (after it has warmed up) fine? Could be a CAT clog.

Yeah clogged cat was my first thought too, but it's unclear whether it still has a cat based on the HKS and the Jasma... Which I assume is a header?

Hi friends, the check engine light was on before the track day because i had a problems with the Code P0410 "Powertrain - Auxiliary Emission Controls. Secondary Air Injection System. This light is on when i started on cold (just in the cold mornings) because on the afternoon i had no problems. and the Code doesn`t appear.

The problems dont happen on the 1st and 2d gear ... its accelerate normally.

I'm going to do scanning again, but i need to wait for tomorrow for do that (cause i dont have the scanner hardware

In the morning start perfectly.

Is there any chance you missed a shift from 3rd to 4th and bounced off the rev limiter a few times? Likewise, is there any chance you went into fuel starvation on a hard left turn?

I have done both of those things, and my car seemed to go into a pseudo limp mode afterward, in which it didn't want to rev over 7K, but was normal in every other aspect. Disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes fixed it in both cases.

No possibilities about missed a shift, i'm so secured of that. All the track has left turns ... just 2 turn to the right ... but this kind of problems its appears on the turn .. and there's no my problem. My problem is into the straight line.

Hey friends! Yesterday went to the racetrack and I try to reproduce the problem ... with the racing team we realized differents tests and the problem is the FUEL PUMP. With the fuel tank under 50% on a race line rising (incline) the loss power appears. I racing again but with the fuel tank FULL and NO PROBLEM!!!

Thanks for your help!
