Hello my name is Chris i rescued an 2004 rx8 was going to just pull the motor for a new home in my 02 miata but after getting it run decided i liked the car to much. Really only have 2 question best place to buy synchronize for the 6spd as my 2nd gear is going mazda wanted 600 plus for three 2cnd 3rd and 4th. Also has anyone tried heat shielding the factor intake box and tubes if so did it help looks like all of the after market intakes just add noise and in most cases loose power. thanks for the add

You're probably better off finding a used trans.

 

My fear with a used trans is it doing the same thing in a few 1000 miles or so but I have been looking into 1
