Hello

So i was thinking if it's possible to utilize screen from navigation as a display for rear view camera.
I don't use that navi anyway.
I know that Navi screen use RGB connection and rear view camera use composite cable so i guess there needs to be some conversion involved.
Did anyone of You try it?

 

There is a product called NavTool that claims to use a navigation screen interface for that and streaming.
I don't think anyone here has tried it, mainly because they won't provide any video or feedback to questions.
Maybe you could try it out for us and give us a review.

 

 

Thanks for info...Navtool would be perfect..however unfortunately the price is too high for me. Especially with shipping cost from USA to Poland...
I see that they even does't send it outside US
I Was hoping that there wil be cheaper option even if i'd need to cut off completely navigation that i don't need.

 

I recall some topics on this message board about people creating their own video input to the factory navi screen. They were able to play videos off their iPod right on the factory screen I believe. It's been years ago, but I know it's out there on this message board somewhere.....
