JP I am new owner

I purchased a 2004 rx8 on Sunday and have a few questions.. Besides speed, I plan on trying to put as many accessories in the car as possible.. Lambo doors, mini fridge, etc etc.. However before I do this there are a few things I think I will need to fix, the rear bumper has a small dent and the left rear quarter panel has some dents as well. The steering wheel can get difficult to steer I was told only some of the time. However when I got the car it was working fine. As long as the car starts and the issue isn't there it won't happen but occasionally when starting the car it will become difficult to turn the wheel.

The electric power steering issues can be due to coolant dripping on the EPS connector toward the left front of the engine. Clean it up, that might just help.

Before you get to the minifridge part of the project, check the New and Potential Owners thread in the new members forum. There are a few critical things you need to do to make sure the cars runs well.

I am hoping that you thought ahead and got a compression test done prior to your purchase. If not, i would strongly suggest before adding your first spark plug to it , getting that done, let alone the mini fridge. You may quickly find yourself saving a few thousand for a new engine, before a few thousand on doors, rims, and a fridge.

Congrats on acquiring the 8 and welcome aboard.

Seem like a trolling thread to me lol however, you have been steered in the right direction so far.

All the best with your project keep us posted on how that mini fridge install goes :-)
