I just bought a 2011 RX8 and it turns out that the Tail Lights are shot. Dropping $1200 for a new set in not really an option right now. The LED Lights are not working when you turn on the lights at night. And some of them light up when I step on the brakes.

So my questions are?

Can I use an older version of the tail lights which are much more plentiful and cheaper on a 2011.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the tail lights. I guess I am going to have to rewire

 

You can only use tail lights from a 2009-2011 RX-8. There is a part out thread for a 2009 in the FS forum, I bought the seats out of it but he had the tail lights.
