just got my COBB and installed it along with its base map..... After choosing "expose ECU" i try to find and open the dilel and its not presenting itself in AP manager

id really like to build off the stock base map. i know its possible and im missing something really stupid .. lol

I'm sure with some HEX editor and hackzor skillz you could figure out the Mazda Map.

Are you confusing the Cobb Stock Map with the Mazda map?

All the Cobb tunes are editable

 

Pretty sure I found the mazda rom it was in the dump tab.

 

Oh yah you can back that up from the AP to your hard drive.

But I'm almost positive ATR won't read it .. you need a HEX editor I believe.

Haven't gotten in to the Hex editor stuff, just read others using it

 

You can't access a Mazda tune like a Cobb tune. If you want to build off a Stock tune you have to start with the one supplied from Cobb. Unless you're a software engineer guru with extensive hardware and reverse engineering skills.
