Hey rx8 club it's been awhile. My car has been in my parent's garage all winter and my first project with it was to get bluetooth installed. I decided to go with the grom audio kit. Very easy install, unfortunately I realized on my way into work today that I forgot to hook up the ac controls oh well I'll go back for them tonight. The thing literally plugs right into the back of the radio with no modifications at all. Wonderful! For some reason I couldn't get the AUX to work, but I was thinking maybe I had to use the disc change button? I'll try it later but has anyone had success on that front they could share with me? Anyways despite the aux not working I'm happy with the product. Blue tooth works wonderfully and so does the usb. Sterring wheel controls work to change the song over bluetooth and usb! Wonderful! Sound quality is exceptional too on the bose system. The base feel amplified too because my car shakes at volume 12 and I don't even have a sub! I find I keep the volume at around 9-10 and 12-15 if I'm trying to wake the neighbourhood :P I can't even imagine what full blast sounds like, probably blows the speakers so be careful!


P.S. last summer I was following a thread of a guy building a white drift car can anyone link me to it? I can't seem to find it now. I can provide more details if need be but if you followed that project then you probably know the one I'm talking about

 

hit the cd button twice and the display should read "EX"

 

I know that already. I put it on EX and bluetooth and usb work, but aux does not.

 

double check the connection is good, and that the wire is still intact, I had ripped a 3.5 jack wire when I first installed mine

 

Ok so everything was fine. I just misread the instruction on how to switch to AUX mode. Now that I got that right it is working great! Thanks for your replies sonic
