knocking sound??

knocking sound??
i have a knocking sound not sure where from but sounds like from behind the motor .
i started car and it ran fine for a few secs thn the noise started and is louder when cold
ANY IDEAS?

I had the same problem when I used low octane gas, which I think its due to detonation.. maybe try a higher octane gas and see if it helps..

it turns out it was both stationary bearings and one rotor bearing and crank was broken
