New RX8 Owner!!!
Hello all! I just purchased a 2004 RX8 and just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm currently stationed in Germany and will be taking the RX8 to the Nordschleife AKA the (Green Hell). I currently own a 2013 BMW E92 M3 but found the RX8 from a neighborg who's leaving soon and couldn't pass on the oportunity to own one of the only Rotary engine cars still available.
Will be posting pictures soon so tay tune for them.

I will get mine next week. A titanium grey 2004 Type - S - 6 speed to be used also for track days once in a while. Coming from BMW E92 320d Msport as a daily driver. You are lucky you own an E92 M3! Looking forward to the rotary while they are still around!
Yeah I hear mix emotions on this engine, good and bad but hey as long you take care of the services and do them as preventive maintenance and not after the facts then the car will be good to you. That's how I keep my M3 which I supercharged and do all the preventive maintenance on it at half the recommended time from BMW so all my oil changes are done at 7K miles instead of the 15K BMW calls for.
Welcome, and you broke the code. Take care of cars, and they will last. You should be well on your way to enjoying the 8.
As a fellow 04 owner, I can recommend the Congrats thread in my signature. There are several things I learned in my first few years that made life a lot easier.
And, again, welcome.

When I was posted to Germany in the mid 1990s we only had a 1991 Honda Acord wagon. I now wish I was back, at least for the autobahns, now that we own a Subaru wagon and a VW Golf R, and an R-8 r3.
I would be curious as to autobahn speeds you are comfortable with in your new RX-8.
