Suspension Upgrades/ Air Ride kits

So, I got my '04 8 in September of 2014, and as many of you have probably had issues with this problem, I would like to inquire about what kind of suspension I should invest in.

I would like to do air ride/ bags so that I can raise and lower my car over bumps and such, but I was also wondering if this would reduce my cushioning performance. If i should get coilovers, which ones, what length, and do I need to get aftermarket arms for these?

I am also looking at getting a wider/lower body kit in the future, so would I be better off with air?

Lemme know guys, thanks!

There are a million threads on this subject. Read those. I don't know what you mean by cushioning performance but yes air bags will reduce the handling capability of the car. But then again so will cheap coilovers so you have to do your homework. Spoon feeding you won't do you any good.
