Series 1 bodykits on a Series 2 RX8, can it be done?

Hello everyone! I am learning all I can before I buy an RX8. With that being said, I do not have one to attempt to answer my own question. I was wondering if anyone here has ever put a series 1 body kit on a Series 2 RX8? My thought is that it is possible, however I don't know how easy. Is there just a difference in the amount of clips or is there a difference in size, etc.
If anyone has any information on how it can be done I would greatly appreciate your help! Pictures would be helpful if you have done it and outlined your process.

Wont work that well. Headlight shape is slightly different, and you would have a gap where the corner lights sit from the S1. IIRC the bumper bar on the S2 sits a bit further out from the S1 as well so it really wont work if thats the case.

Thank you, that is what I needed to know. It's a shame really, I want an s2 because they are more reliable than the s1 but the s1 has better aftermarket variety. Maybe I will go with a series 1 then. Back to the book's I guess haha

You can find series 1's that have been well taken care of and will go for much cheaper. Just make sure to do your research and have a compression test done on the motor before diving in.

Well that is debatable .... S2 has a decent amount of options as well, but you will need to pay for them (gotta pay for anything worth its quality for the s1 as well). Check japanparts.com.
