Not much FI choice in the uk sooooo.....

So after 3 years of 8 ownership and a year of research i have decided to take the plunge and go turbo. Being in the U.K. we are not spoilt for choice on things so i had limited options.

Ive decided to go with a home brewed kit and one that is rear mounted. I know this is not a new thing but i am looking at keeping the turbo totally separate. Remote oil and water feeds via rear mounted exchangers.

I have totally re designed the intake to be made from ali and at a later date carbon fibre. I have also decided to totally remove the plastic vac chamber and make a new one so i can relocate it. This also enables me to relocate the oil filler spout and i have also decided relocate the oil filter. I know a lot of what im doing bears no gain, but its a project and i have the facilities to make everything i need so why not?

I have had in depth discussions with the peeps in the SARX group and they continue to be an amazing pool of inspiration and keep me motivated.

If people are interested in seeing the progress i'll keep this thread updated.

Here is a few pics of the injector rail for the primarys, billet OMP manifold, phenolic spacer, vac chamber, oil relocation spout and oil filter relocation bits.

Cheers

With the right ecu solution and injector combination you don't even need working P1 injectors

Looks a bit low, might scrape on speed bumps. why not move it a bit further back to get more clearance?
