Bluetooth - reconnect?

I have a 2011 R3. My Samsung S3 pairs and functions just fine except I have to tell the car in setup to reconnect (not re-pair) to the phone every time I start it.

Is this usual?

Thanks

I have an 09 GT, same thing here. Pain, but after attempting to talk to my wife while driving, it isnt the best hands free system anyway so I just use my BT headset now anyway.

Well, fixed it.

I went in and deleted all the phones. Then reinstalled mine. It works perfectly now.

I purchased a Griffin iTrip Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter port in the armrest. Modern smartphones can handle multiple, different bluetooth requests. So my Android or iPhone (or BBRY) phone is linked in on the radio AND streaming audio using the iTrip. Link: https://griffintechnology.com/us/col...-aux-bluetooth
