My driver side mirror is messed up. the triangular portion that attaches to the car is warped, like it was heated up and changed shape. so i need to replace that piece, so my plan is to buy one off ebay and move my actual mirror assembly over. everyone i have found is roughly $40 for one assembly (i only need one).

So I am debating on going stock or for nearly the same price getting 2 new aftermarket mirrors. There are 2 options i like, both that have a built in turn signals, which i like.

But i am not sure how they look, so im wondering what if any one has them, or can photoshop it. im also concerned with the fitment, but i figured since its a simple geometric shape it shouldnt be an issue.

I like the ganador style, but its probably not made specifically for the rx8.. and its a replica so the fitment will be crap.

 

how would it not be rx8 specific? i would think that the triangular portion would have to be the right size/shape or it would need to be listed as universal. unless do you mean the mirror portion is universal with a vehicle specific "base"?

 

There are a couple things you have to take into consideration here. The measurements of the base (exterior portion) and the placement of the holes for the screws. I think once you have those measurements you should be fine since your concerned about fitment.

 

I dont know, ive seen parts on ebay listed as fitting a rx8 but it was clearly a mazda 3 tail light..

I dont trust ebay listings when they say that it fits something, especially when it comes to the cars exterior.

I would just put a order through japanparts for authentic ganadors.
