i would like to add some led foot well lighting to the 8. i would like to have it on a dimmer so its not always at full brightness, primarily so its not distracting during night driving.

i would like to maintain OEM appearance so would like to use stock cluster dimmer switches, does anyone know whether these function as a pulse width modulator?

or have an idea as to how to make them work with LED strips?
