Coils

As some of you know I've been running on the same coils for more than 60k miles. I have been looking for a cheep short term or expensive long term replacement. I have seen a lot of you talk about BHR coil up grade. This is about a $600 up grade but do they last more than 30k like the stock coils? I was looking at e-bay (yes I know bad words) an found some OKADA coils for like $900 I have never seen this mentioned on this forum. My questions are these has eney one used these coils? Are they worth the money? And do they last longer than 30k miles?

BHR coils are considered 'lifetime'. We haven't found an age limit where they die out. Just replace plugs as needed

the BHR coils are great performers and built to last the lifetime of your car. I recommend them. Be sure to get the wires with them and replace the plugs at the same time.

Instead of making a new post I'll just do it here. Got taxes done just need (I hope ) two weeks for the money to hit the bank but I have a list of new peaces for my baby ( wife would kill me and clolect the life insurense if she herd me call the car my baby) but here is the list.

1) As talked about BHR coils upgrade wires and plugs. $620
2) brake pads from BHR web site ( as old ones have been squeaking just hope the old ones last that much longer) $145
3) intake under tray from BHR as I dislike the stock ones ugly look. $150
4) AEM intake (replacing the e-bay one it's ok and I have done moding to it so the MAF reads right) as every one here swears by it and is the only one proven to add HP. $350 ( and it from BHR site to)
Grand total of $1265
Have meny other things on wish list but paying off the car is eating $3800 and I'm ready to have it payed for. Cobb ap will have to be put on hold for a bit longer. Keeping my OBX header and midpipe but when the weather gets better will heat wrap the header to keep extra heat from being added under the hood.my only thing with that is won't it make the heat higher at the ports and in the engine it's self? Or should I just fab a heat shield to keep the header heat from the engine and parts above?
