Hi my Rx8 makes a weird noise when going over speed humps.. Its like a kind of grinding/scraping noise from the rear of the car. I need to get new bushes for the front (passenger side knocks) but as for the scraping noise its doing my head in. If i really slow down to go over the hump it doesnt occur but normal speeds and i get a horrible noise.
It onlyy happens over speed humps too, pot holes etc is fine..

Check your exhaust hangers and see if they are intact. Might want check your bushings as well.

 

What wheels and tires do you have?....sounds like a tire rub to me

I have the stock 18" 5spoke alloys, I managed to figure out the problem. (We'll my gf found it actually lol) but yh basically on the drivers side at the rear a bit of the cover inside the wheel arch had managed to drop down and was making contact with the tyre. Popped it bk in place and hey presto noise gone :D..

But I really need to source some bushes for the front suspension.. Can anyone help me with this??
Also, she isn't lowered yet but it's something I'm seriously considering. Any advice on that?
