So I know that this is a common problem on the R3's, but I haven't seen too many Sport/GT's with this issue. Anyway, the past few weeks my seat has been squeaking a lot when hitting bumps and such. No real complaint here since not only do i have a stiff suspension, but also seasons of autocross would surely contribute.

I know there are at least 3 tsbs to look at so I am going to start there. Wondering if any non-R3 S2 owners have run into this issue.

 

Mine does it too dealer says they just use leather conditioner when I take it in. It does stop for a while but comes back despite that I treat my leather 2x/month.

No squeak or rattle what so ever in my r3 almost 60k miles

Edit: and drove thru 3 Harsh Quebec Winters (down to -30s oC) for 2-3 weeks substained

 

No squeak on my 09 Sport. The interior was upgraded to leather and I'm at 25k miles.
