Thanks for the reply on the catalytic converter. I will do away with it this winter and will take the advice to spend the money and get a good replacement pipe.
I would however like to know how many people premix their fuel. I have read different posts on this but have not made my own decision on whether I should be premixing. I do not live in an area where the temperatures are above 90 for long periods of time.
My oil consumption is normal and I have had no issues with idle or acceleration. I have an 2004 RX with only 28000 kilometers (18000 miles) on it. I put it away for the Winter.

If you haven't made up your mind on premix or not, I can assure you that polling people won't make up your mind either, since it's going to be biased to only people that see the poll.

I don't premix for example, but then, I don't have an RX-8 at the moment either.
