hey everyone

iv have search the web for a while and cannot get a proper answer, how much coolant would i need to do a coolant change in my 8? how many litres does an rx8 hold?

1.5 Gallons, approximately.

Thats including the radiator, block, heater core. A completely dry system.

Its also in your manual.

so it holds about 7 litres? so i only need 3.5 lites of coolant and 3.5 litres of water to do a coolant change? thanks!

Where are you located?

Just get the Mazda Fl22 coolant, its about 20 bucks a gallon and comes at a 45/55 ratio. Its also pretty decent in terms of performance as well.

Yup... IMO Mazda coolant is better than most coolants at the store. For my rebuild it's between this and Evans NPG+
