A few weeks ago I made a listing to sell my factory wheels as I had purchased new ones. On my post InfoSecRX8 expressed interest and we began negotiating through e-mail. He constantly changed his story and would never clarify the shipping arrangement after I constantly asked. His plan was to send me a certified check for the amount, plus an additional $100 for running around and the money to send to the shipper so they could be picked up and shipped. Upon receipt of the check I was already suspicious of the deal so I decided to take it to the bank and have it verified. The bank informed me that had I done anything with it I would have been responsible for the full amount as the check would have been returned. My girlfriend just send me a story shed seen somewhere else from someone pulling the same scam. Just a heads up, PayPal only. I was lucky enough to have asked the bank before I made a huge mistake.
