No Crank Issue

Don't know whats going on.... but Yesterday on my 8, it started fine, i drove it for about 20 minutes then when i was pulling in the speakers started popping and fading out. So i turned it off and now it doesn't crank at all. Also the radio, power window and locks, lights wont turn on or respond. But the HUD comes up resets and acts normally. Checked all the fuses in both compartments, and also the main fuse; no problems. Battery was dead at first but now charged.

I'm, pretty stumped as to whats going on seeing as how it ran fine for about 20 minutes...

Sounds like your alternator died on you if the battery was dead after driving the car but not before. When you tried to start it after you turned it off, died it make any sort of cranking noise whatsoever? I would suggest jumping it or rollstarting it, but if the alternator is fried, it won't run with a dead battery anyway. Check your battery connections & grounds, then make sure the battery really is fully charged and try to start it.

Was the battery light on before it died on you, by chance?

Having the same problem. I'm turning my key but it won't crank but all the lights and a/c work. Checked my fuses, and I can pop my clutch when rolling to get it started and it works fine when its started. But they key won't crank

Maybe a bad battery or starter, or the clutch switch that lets it turn over when depressed. Does it click or anything when you try to start it?
