Dual Resonated Midpipe

Hey guys today i bought a dual resonated midpipe but i dont know the brand looks like the racingbeat one. I want my car to be much louder . I already have the invidia q300 catback so what do u guys think it will sound like ? Much louder or just a bit ?

Here you go to jail if u get caught with no cat...

How exactly do you think we're supposed to answer that? With a decibel level? Either install it or watch youtube videos.

Not to familiar with the laws over there but i highly doubt jail is realistic, might be written down but probably one of those laws that never gets attention, worst case your looking at a fine, and what cop anywhere ever looks under your car to verify, if your that worried about it keep your cat and put it back on whenever you get service, PIA i know but its your call.

Now you need some headers and it gets progressively louder, but a mid-pipe is defiantly a good call and you will notice the noise.

An uncatted rotary exhaust stinks! Anyone within 10 meters will know there's no cat. You really think in der Schweiz no one will complain to the police? :

Yeah well first off its a fine and you lose your licence for like a month... Could be jail or have the car scrapped... Lile how much louder are we talking about my invidia is ok... But i want to add a small extra noise to it

You would think so but when I have gotten emissions done in the past the guy stands right behind my car to get my license plate number and never said a word about the smell.

OP if Switzerland is that serious about having a cat then I would just keep it on there. It is illegal in the US too but it really does not get enforced as long as you pass emissions, nobody checks under the car.

Take a picture of the mid pipe so we can tell which it is.

Much of the "stink" from un-catted exhaust is due to the ethanol in our gasoline. This may not be an issue in Switzerland.

A midpipe may cause the engine ecu to throw a CEL. It doesn't happen immediately on some cars. On others, it may not happen at all. There isn't anyway to tell. This may be a problem if there is ever an emissions inspection of your car.
