Internation buyers warning Assualtech

First up; I have no reputation on this forum. I am from Australia and am I promiment member over on the .com.au forum (you'll see my name freaquently in the active topics). This is for information purposes only!

Just for international buyers information (possibly domestic).

Danny from assaultech took my money and ran.

I contact him in regards to an exoticspeed r ii titan exhaust, and he said it was all ready to ship as soon as payment cleared. He told me payment had cleared and then dissapeared. Would not reply to emails (15 emails) and hung up on me as soon as I said who I was.

My bank had to retrieve the funds for me through their fraud devision.

He had a great reputation on here, that is why i chose to buy off him. I don't think you can deny everything he has done on this forum, allot of people praise him. Just keep the above in your mind if you ever think about purchasing off him.

How much time passed between the time you paid and the time you filed a fraud claim? Spell check is your friend.

Three weeks after. One week after he ceased communication.

What proof you like? Screen shots of emails saying he recieved payment, and a screen shot of my bank account with both the payment and refund?

I am not here to wage war on him, just to inform people about my experience. I went through him because of the possitive things said on this forum. If i had read a post like mine above, I would have insisted on using paypal for proper protection against fraud. I just don't want him to be able to do something like this and it not be seen.

And nothing I have said was slanderous nor could be considered deformation. If he wanted to take me to court, I would sue him for taking my money. I don't see that sitting well with any judge.

Thank you for moving this to the correct thread

I love it. An international bank believes him and instigates retrieval of funds, but the RX8 club jumps on the bandwagon of protecting a vendor!

He has done exactly what your last sentence says and has posted about an experience in the Good Guy/Bad Guy section. Love ths place

Edit: sorry didnt realise it had been MOVED to the right section :/

I have no idea what's going on. If I was going to protect the vendor, his post would have been removed. For now, I'm locking this thread.

I've had multiple transactions with Danny at Assaultech and haven't had a single problem, and his responses were always prompt and almost instant in most cases. I know of international customers that have dealt with him on multiple occasions with payment via wire transfer and haven't had any problems either.

I'm beating there's more to this story.
