Mazdaspeed RX-8 & Rx-8

Hi,

Is the engine of the Mazdaspeed RX-8 different from the Rx-8?

Define different. Will it still be a rotary? Yes. Will it have a larger displacement? Probably. Will the intake tracts be different? Possibly. Will it have forced induction? Some would hope. Other than enhancements or adding some components it should be the same basic engine. Mazdaspeed may make a three rotor but that is unlikely, at least at this stage of development.

Sorry, please replace "basic engine" with: "phenominal piece of engineering"
