Here's the deal. the above stated car has a bhr catless midpipe, d585 coils, and some minor tweaks to the cruise portions of the fuel and ignition maps in the cruising area. I've added about 10% more dwell over stock across the board.

The problem is evident after cruising on the highway for about 30 minutes. When I try to accelerate there is a notable change in power and the tone of the intake seems to go flat and growl.occasionally this is experienced with what sounds like knock or clatter.

Is this consistent with a faulty our failing ssv? Could it be the vfad?

Looking for experienced opinions.

Should maybe post a log if you can of it occurring.
Maybe a youtube vid of it happening as well.

I believe most of people that can modify there dwell table for the D585 coils are using something close to following dwell settings.

Should perhaps also post your afr table and ignition maps

This will help with perhaps solving the issue.

What octane for the hell of it?

Try to notice if it happens at a certain RPM.

Check your maps again as well.
