8th Annual " Rotary Meet " @ Markham Park Saturday Nov. 3rd @ 1 PM

8th Annual Rotary Meet at Markham Park. Bring freinds and family. Most important, bring a rotary powered car or a previously rotary powered car with a different powerplant (We Don’t discriminate….we may not like it, but we will still give you love) . if you don't have a rotary powered car and love rotary's this event is for you. Everyone is welcome. No food or drinks will be served. Please bring your own food and drink to the park or eat and drink before you get there.

This is the biggest Rotary Powered Vehicle Meet in South Florida. I don't know of any other this size. We usually have between 50-70 cars.

We have a group caravaning down from the Melbourne/palm bay area.

Post up if you wanna caravan down also.

This is a awesome meet, you don't wanna miss it!

 

I went last year. A lot of neat cars out there. I won't be able to go this year because I'll be participating in the red bull flugtag.

 

I will be going, I live in Pompano area, pm me if anyone in the area wants to meet then caravan to Markham, I just bought my 8 used to have a Mazda 3, but blew the engine 3 weeks ago, so my 8 is all stock , the upgrades will be sure to come probably after the new year ( along as the Mayans are wrong lol) in any case see ya there

 

I'm thinking about it , if my buddy is off that day ill go. He familiar with area

It's also super easy to find, Markham Park is where I-75 & I-595 meet.

 

Well if anyone doing a drive from Tampa or around and we can meet somewhere to drive together it will be worth it . Kinda a boring drive down their , be kinda fun with a couple rotary cars

SavannaDan will meet up with 1974RX-4, estevan62274 and myself(1973rx3) at 9am at the I-95 Palm Bay exit 176 (Malabar road) on Nov 3 at the Sunoco gas station.

Jeg0024 we should be able to connect with you at the Steak and Shake you suggested (between I-95 and turnpike) at Ft Pierce exit 130 of I-95 at around 9:45-10:00 am and continue from there down to Markham Park via I-95.

Thats our plan we hope not to be delayed at any of the stops too much and hope to be at Markham Park about 12ish. If anyone else wants to join at any of the stops that are conveniant then you know where to join the caravan.
Otherwise give us inputs for other stops.
Also pm me if you need my cel number so we can coordinate.

How about a pit/gas stop at Pompano, Copans exit (east), there is a BP station just as you get on or off of 95, there's a McDonalds as well. Or someone could call or text me when you guys get to boca area, and I can wait on side of 95 and just wait for the caravan of 8s to pass by ?

Man I got stuck working out of all Saturdays going to check if my buddy will work for me and I will work his day. ,, anyone driving from Tampa area ?

Ill be there with my 8... Right now i have my midpipe taken out and im extremely loud... Maybe i should put it back on by saturday?

 

my attendance is up in the air ATM, car is running rough and is hesitating badly at low RPMs..

 

Hows the weather going to be down in Miami tomorrrow ?? I will know today if I get tomorrow off so I can drive down . .. What the best time to be their and will their be a place to eat .. I likes to eat lol . And just curious will their be something around to do for kids I may bring my daughter . Thanks

 

Meet starts @1 but people start showing up at 11-12ish.
The park has a playground, I'm bringing mine kids as well(8 & 7 yr olds)

Right outside the park is BK and a couple of other spots.
